Attorney Melissa Alden is an experienced attorney dedicated to helping individuals and families make the very best legal decisions. Her practice focuses on Family Law. She has developed lifelong relationships with her clients, serving as a trusted advisor to them and their families by helping them to preserve and protect their assets, loved ones, and legacies.

Attorney Alden is actively involved in the Cape Cod community and focuses her volunteer efforts on the Independence House of Cape Cod; advocating for victims of abuse. She is also a frequent participant in the Barnstable County Probate Courthouse ‘lawyer of the day’ program; availing her services to those in need on a walk-in basis at the probate and family courthouse. Attorney Alden regularly takes on Pro Bono clients through Southcoast Legal Services, the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project, and the Women’s Bar Foundation. She has been the recipient of the First Justice Award for Pro Bono Excellence since 2013 and was also recognized twice for her community service while serving the Town of Yarmouth as a Police Officer.
